A Family Showcase

There is always a magical story behind every business, and we love hearing how it all began, the history and the journey that it has taken. Over the last year we have learnt so much about The Dormy House and their beautiful story, we just knew we had to capture the essence of the company – and we had the perfect moment in mind!

You may be aware that we have been working on many projects for The Dormy House during 2020, such as shooting fresh imagery for their furniture and replanning their showroom. We proposed that a gorgeous video to showcase the newly refurbished showroom and to capture the amazing team, working hard creating the bespoke pieces in the warehouse would add a personal and professional touch to their website. The icing on the cake was when we were informed that Anna’s parents, the founders of The Dormy House, were moving back to the UK. We knew we had to capture this perfect moment of them seeing the rebranded Dormy House in all its glory!

A little background:

The Dormy House being a family run business, started in 1983 when Anna’s Father retired from the Army. He began hand crafting their renowned round tables in the garage at their family home; orders came in thick and fast and it is then that they decided to take the plunge in buying a larger premise to continue their journey.
