An Experts Touch: Mood Board Making

An exciting shoot this week at Chicken Shed Studios, we had so much fun pulling this shoot together. From French Greys to beautiful blushes, we were tasked with creating some gorgeous flat lay stills and videos for The Dormy House to showcase their rebranded shades of paint on Socials and the Dormy Website.

Spring is coming and with that you may be thinking of an interior refresh, but where to start? Trends are everywhere and can easily be overwhelming. Well, that’s where a Mood Board will help you achieve your desired aesthetic. Our creative team including Creative Director Lou, stylist Ali and photographer Max help break Mood Board making down by curating colours, fabrics and textures and then editing eye catching pieces amongst the sea of style inspo.

The idea is to help inspire, encourage and really demystify the design process by pulling patterns and textures together to delight your senses. In these videos we focus on The Dormy House’s new range of luxurious interior paints and so, we’ve dedicated Mood Boards to each. Then, we gradually pull pattern into the Mood Board to help add style which will translate in to your home be it on your sofa, curtains, or even accent accessories

The team created some great content on this shoot and as always we loved working with The Dormy House. We can’t wait to see the videos and stills on Social Media and on the website.
